The GCA's SGML '96 is being held at the Sheraton Boston Hotel and Towers and the Hynes Convention Center, Boston on 18th - 21st November 1996. This year SGML '96 celebrates SGML's 10th anniversary with a mixture of presentations from technical theory for experts to business cases for managers. There is also an exhibition where attendees can learn about the latest tools and products. Examples of the variety of topics that will be addressed at the conference include: products for the disabled, SGML for medical records, and the need for SGML Web browsers.
SGML '96 is focused towards newcomers to SGML, users, and experts. There are twelve tutorials before the conference which are held on Sunday 17th November 1996. The Exposition, held on 19th and 20th November 1996 and managed by the Graphic Communications Research Institute (GCARI), will showcase over 40 vendors of SGML-aware products and services.
